Music
Music is a significant part of my life. I’ve worked on various projects as a producer and guitarist, collaborating with friends to create music across different genres. From recording and mixing to playing guitar and piano, I enjoy both the technical and creative sides of music production. Here are some projects I’m particularly proud of.
New Exhibit #
New Exhibit is an indie rock band fronted by Daniel Drost, a good friend I’ve been playing guitar with for years. We used to write songs together. I recorded and mixed these tracks in Toon van Dort’s studio, bringing together the collaborative spirit that defines much of my music work.
Karst #
Karst is the electronic pop project of my good friend Karst-Jan Mollema. I helped write these songs and handled the recording and mixing of the live instruments, while Toon van Dort (deToon) produced the electronic parts. I played rhythm guitar and piano on these tracks. The guitar solo on “How Do You Do It” was performed by Daniel Drost from New Exhibit.
deToon #
Toon van Dort creates electronic music in various styles, and I’ve become his go-to guitarist for adding live instrumentation to his tracks. On “The Right Time,” I played a funky rhythm guitar part for this upbeat, poppy track. “Gazebo” is a lo-fi piece where I contributed both the catchy melody and rhythm guitar parts.
